Privacy

What we keep

• Adults: name, WhatsApp number, email if you give one, how you're related to your scouts, and pack roles.
• Scouts: name, grade and den — and only if your family adds them, a birthday, allergies, dietary needs and medical notes.
• Forms and training: only the dates they were done and when they run out. We never store health forms or copies of any document.
• What you do here: RSVPs, volunteer sign-ups, and a record of changes leaders make.

Who can see it

• Your family's details: your family and the pack's leaders.
• Allergies and dietary needs: also your scout's den leaders and the adults running an event your scout goes to.
• Medical notes: your family and the few leaders given access to sensitive details.
• Other families can see who's coming to an event, but not your phone number or email.

WhatsApp

If you message the pack's WhatsApp number, we use your number to find you on the pack roster and reply — for example with a sign-in link, or to record your RSVP. If you ask for event reminders, we send them to that number. Reply STOP anytime to turn reminders off. These messages go through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform.

Services we use

• Vercel hosts the website and Neon stores its database, both in the United States.
• Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform carries messages to and from the pack's number.
• The National Weather Service, AlAdhan (prayer times) and the U.S. Census geocoder receive event places and addresses — never anything about you.
• OpenStreetMap search (Photon) receives the place names leaders type when planning an event.
• The optional AI helper, only if the pack turns it on: what a leader types for an event or announcement goes to an AI model (OpenAI, through Vercel's AI Gateway), with phone numbers and emails hidden. When an admin imports a roster with the helper, that roster is sent to read it.

What we don't do

We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing, and there are no ads. The only cookie is the one that keeps you signed in.

Changes, corrections and removal

You can update your family's details yourself under My family. To have your family removed, or with any question about this page, ask one of the pack's leaders.
